I have not been blogging as of late, and for that, I am sorry. Been busy unpacking for the first week in Brunei and for the past few days, I have been a boring lump that has parked her delicately huge ass on a chair in front of her internet-less laptop. I hope though, I can be forgiven for this misdemeanour. Anyhow, Brunei is as it has always been, a slow little town with slow traffic, with its slow and relaxing pace. My brother has been watching Friends and laughing at odd intervals as he has his earphones on, thus making it very odd to hear. My parents, they do their parent-stuff and the youngest brother is busy with his own school stuff, leaving me, the very bored Beat.
Brunei is overall a nice place to bring up your children, but not really the place for fast paced people to live. I need a mixture of both, so sometimes, I'm rather content with sitting outside and soaking up the sun and breathing the fresh air. But later, I would be restless and need to run out screaming! The pictures that I will post are of the hornbills that visit my garden pretty regularly. My brother and I have spotted monitor lizards, skinks and other reptiles and birds on the yard. Just down the road (in a sense of speaking) we have a beach. Then again, Shell treats their employees well I suppose.
Although my phone is on roaming, I don't dare message Nick much. Roaming charges me RM2 for every SMS I send to him. I came here with 30++ bucks and I am left with only 50 cents. Amazing right? I can't wait to get back to KL in a way that I have nearly unlimited internet and I have full coverage for my phone, and messaging my boyfriend wouldn't make me broke within a second! Nick is working in uni with Dr Keith so at least he's occupied with something. I on the other hand will be doing summer school this summer break. I will be helping out during the open day to earn me RM40, measly I know, but money is money and I really want to get me a new phone with a cam :P. I've been eyeballing K630i. It has nice colours and looks nice. It isn't too big or too small. Just nice. I also like that it isn't a joystick that is used for navigation.
